A beautiful villa in a beautiful part of France, ideal for family get togethers. Pool is the icing on the cake. Perfect for a relaxing holiday but also well placed to explore the surrounding area. Thank you Catherine and Jean-Claude!

We really enjoyed our week's stay here. The location is beautiful with sprawling fields and beautiful countryside. The saltwater pool is lovely and Catherine and Jean Claude take all the hassle away from you in maintaining the pool daily. There are some superb Bastide towns to visit. Also, some water sports available if that takes your fancy. A perfect hideaway for families or couples. Our accommodation was very comfortable and when we got hot, we dipped in the pool. Will certainly contemplate returning another year. The BBQ was the icing on the cake!

Simply wonderful - we are already planning to return next year. This is real France; civilized and relaxed, not touristy; Catherine and Jean-Claude are perfect hosts. It's rare to be able to swim properly in gite pools, but we did here - for hours every day, and in salt water too which is so revitalizing. Will we ever go anywhere else?

Returned for 2 weeks this year in this beautiful place. The house is very well appointed (and the gite too) and we love the covered terrace with fantastic views over the valley The salt pool is large and we swam every day. The field is awash with flowers with a mass of various orchids; we saw butterflies deer and heard owls. Catherine and Jean Claude are very and hospitable and are keen to help in any way. The valley of the Aveyron is beautiful with lovely bastide towns to visit. Good for cycling and walking.

Spent a wonderfully relaxing week at Daramousque. Catherine gave us a warm welcome and was on hand whenever needed. Highlights for us were the swimming pool, the comfy chairs in the shade and great walks with wildlife. The only downside was the terrible EU referendum result. Local wines helped (a little) !! Would fully recommend to others and look forward to returning one day.

We've stayed in both cottages over two summers, most recently in the villa with our 10-month-old son and his grandparents. Both houses are immaculately clean, very well equipped, spacious, and private. Catherine is a caring host who takes a warm, personal interest in your stay whilst giving you privacy and space. The pool is beautiful and a good size for a proper swim. The views from both cottages are exceptional, particularly that from the terrace of the villa: rolling green hills, meadows and farmland of the verdant French countryside. A real haven. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Daramousque for 2 weeks in August. The villa was elegantly furnished, very well equipped and extremely spacious for our family of 5. The highlight for us was the huge veranda overlooking the pool, with stunning views over the countryside. Probably the best self catering property we have ever stayed in and very reasonably priced.

We rented both properties. They were clean, exceptionally well equipped and comfortable. The location was great and views superb. Did we mention the great pool !!! Catherine is attentive but unobtrusive. The best kind of host. All in all a great holiday in this lovely part of France.

What a great week here at Daramousque! We really enjoyed our time here as well as our 5 and 7 year old girls. Not only was the region more than we expected, the cottage and grounds were equally wonderful. Highlights: the view, the pool, the tranquility, coanoe trip (rental in Penne- great for little children), Grotte de Bose. And too many historic sites to mention.Thank you Catherine and Jean Claude

We stayed at Daramousque for the 4th time this year and loved it. We have two young kids who enjoyed the pool and roaming in the meadows collecting wild herbs. It's in a really beautiful location, well maintained and spotlessly clean. There's lots to do in the area: canoeing, horse riding, bastide villages, markets ..... If you get bored, it's your own fault. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it most highly for families - and for grand parents too.

It was a wonderful first family holiday for us - the villa was the perfect space for the group in both the rain and glorious sunshine, and we consider our baby daughter especially lucky to have had such a generous space to explore and play in. Thank you for the wonderful holiday we had at your premises. We already have had many stays in a gite, but this time it was really the best. The Cottage is nice, very clean and well equipped, and foreseen of every comfort. You have had attention for even the smallest details, which can only improve the fine feeling of staying at such a beautiful place. We loved the bastide villages such as Bruniquel, Puycelsi and Cordes sur Ciel. The silence which covers the beautiful landscapes, the large swimming pool with 'all-in' comfort. We are glad to have been here and will recommend this 'special' place to family and friends.

We've had a wonderful week. The setting, view, pool and Villa could not be better and we've had a wonderful family time, mostly here, in the pool, reading, relaxing and playing cards and just enjoying this lovely space. We've visited the market at St. Antonin, the castle at Penne, lunched at Castelnau de Montmiral and shopped at Cordes. Thank you for a lovely week and for your fastidiousness in ensuring everything is as perfect as can be.

I will always have fond memories of time spent at Daramousque Cottage. We arrived here after celebrating a wedding with friends, which was a lovely occasion, but the moment we went through these doors my real love affair with France began. The setting, accommodation and your exquisite attention to making us comfortable are the best I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. As the week went on, every moment here was part of an idyllic holiday. I will surely miss my morning swims and will see Daramousque when my life becomes hectic and I close my eyes to escape.
